I love it! You see those quite often in Europe, but until recently, not so often in the US. I've been happy to run across a few scattered on our landscapes this summer, though!

Alice, they're coming to Norway, too (the photo was taken leaving Copenhagen). I have to admit, I find them a bit creepy when I see them up close. I don't know why.

Oh, this simply could not be more Scandinavian.;)) I have been watching similar windmills across our sea too, this past week.;) BEAUTIFUL image.;)

Zuzana, in that case, Norway is not part of Scandinavia. We have only one "windmill park" so far because most new projects get rejected (was just reading about it today). These are from right outside København (utseilingen). Germany has lots of windmills.
