A valentine for you
I'm not the romantic kind. My version of romance doesn't involve notes, flowers, boxes of candy or trinkets because that's just not exciting enough for me (of course, it does depend on what you put in the note ;-) ). Laughing or crying together over a shared memory or adventure is much more my style, and the following video fits that perfectly. It turns out that even the universe has a romantic bent (at least as seen from Earth), so for the first time in history, I am sending out a Valentine's greeting. Enjoy - and Happy Valentine's Day!

PS. The second woman in that video, and the one that reappears and talks about Carl Sagan, works at Nottingham and is married to a very good friend and colleague of mine! Her husband was was a PhD student I supported at the UKIRT shortly after I arrived here and has since gone on to make a great career for himself in astronomy.
What a small world!
Hope you had a wonderful Sunday Keera.;)

–Tim, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Protege, I was hoping you'd find this and that you would like it. I hope you had a wonderful Sunday, too!
I gave myself a Valentine's gift this year, a small pendant, and I'm going to wear it on the day I can actually leave the house by myself. Not that I've minded mom's and Don's company. I just want to enjoy being healed that much :)
Now that you know my life story, lol, I can read more and find out how YOU are doing! (((hugs)))
